Girls CAN! Girls can drive change and help build a better future for all. Yet, most girls face disadvantage and discrimination on a daily basis. Menstrual taboos, lack of access to toilets, affordable menstrual hygiene products are some reasons which prevent girls from achieving their full potential and is often a reason for absenteeism and female student drop-outs in schools.

As a part of The Red Dot Project, we conducted an open discussion on the need of menstrual hygiene management with young girls and mothers from the Adivasi community at Baithabhanga village in Sonitpur district. These discussions give girls a platform to talk about their experiences with menstruation and also help us plan future interventions.
Join us in building a movement to end menstrual stigma and ensure that every girl can manage her periods in a safe and hygienic way!
We believe Empowered girls turn their CAN’Ts into CANs.
